References and Enhanced Information
First Paragraphs:
In the midst of the Information Age, a time when technological advances are occurring nearly every second, it shouldn’t be a surprise that we often refer to our real lives as our “offline lives”, and time spent on the Internet, in chat rooms, online gaming, and social networking sites as our “online lives”.
And really, it all boils down to this. If you’re not terribly satisfied with how your “offline life” has turned out, you can simply rewrite it - to undo the past, recreate yourself, to be the fearless hero you’ve always wanted to be, or the gun-wielding maniac in a virtual shooting game. In virtual realities, you can escape boredom, depression, loneliness, and all the other unpleasant side effects of real life.

We have added the first RL object at the Adult Playground in Onix1 Island. What is RL and how to use it ?.
RL means Restrained Life. With Restrained Life your options in Second Life can be restrained by other avatars and by objects. This is used a lot in adult playgrounds and also in role playing games in-world. You can find many regions in Second Life which are RL enabled. It can be fun to use ;).
In order to enjoy Restrained Life you will need several things:
1º You need the RLV (Restrained Life Viewer) which can be downloaded for free from the internet.
2º You need to wear a Restrained Life object like a collar, ring, etc which basically allows other avatars to interact with you and restrain your options!.
3º You need to wear a Restrained Live Relay. The RL Relay stablishes communication with RL objects in-world. These objects can be cages and many types of traps!
You can find RL objects and relays for purchase and even for free in Second Life and in XstreetSL, "The Second Life marketplace".
So, if you want to try RL go ahead but be aware of the traps and bad avatars around!. Always read instructions first and always know first hand how you can free yourself in case you are trapped and nobody helps you ;). Have fun!.
If you want to know more you can read the Marine Kelley's blog, HERE.
