What's new at Onix1 Island in Second Life:

Due to the new Linden Lab policy with "adult" content Onix1 Island has changed its classification from "mature" to "adult". "Adult" classification includes content that is sexually explicit, intensely violent and depicts illicit drug use.

Onix1 Island has just few areas with "adult content" and almost all of them are located underground.

All the underground area is "adult" including adult shops/vendors, adult playground, adult club and lasertag arena. In this area you can find: guns, drugs and sex vendors, sexually explicit images, sex balls/objects and activities, escorting ads, dance poles (mainly for strip dancing), shooting game with laser weapons, acess (teleports) to 3 skyhuts located at around 200m over the island (furnished with sex beds and objects).

The Only outdoor "adult" area on the sim is the wooden house located crossing the bridge at the beach area. this 2 level house has sex/BDSM balls, objects, explicit images and activities.

The rest of the sim will be considered "mature" including: the xtreme tower with central stage, pool, bumping tags, skydiving pod and sightseeing tower. The 3 floor mall and coffee area, the beach and the beach club and bar, the floating island (home) located at 700 m over the island and 3 more relaxing spots located in the sim.

From now on being an adult sim there aren't bans regarding sex, drugs and violence on these areas but they aren't specifically related to "adult" content and democracy will always rule. You are free to do anything you want but you have always to respect the freedom of people around you and use common sense :).

There are just 2 simple things you have to do to have acess to Onix1 Island and any other "adult" content in Second Life:

1st. You should verify your age. In order to do this you have to go to Second Life Website and log in with your main avatar (no bots or alts) entering your second life name and password to access your account. Once in your account you select "Age Verification" from the options given on the left side of the screen. You will get an easy form to fill out where you will have to give information about one of your real life Identification documents. you submit the form and it's done!.

2nd You should activate "adult" content in your Second Life Viewer. You log into the viewer with your main "avatar" (the one you have age verified, no bots or alts). You go to the edit option on the top menu. From the drop down edit menu you select "preferences". In the "general" tab of preferences you go to: rating: I want to access content rated... and from the drop down menu given you select: Pg, mature and adult and it's done!.

From now on you can access to 100% of the public content in Second Life ;).
