August is a low volume month as most people take some holidays during this month, I am not an exception ;)

What's new at Onix1 Island in Second Life:

We have added new Bumping Cars in Onix1 Island. They are much better than the ones we had before, they can't go out of the building, the track is bigger and you can play 2 games: Classic and combat. There are 2 rezzing vendors inside the building where you can rez the cars you need to play.

I have also added a Profile Pick Reward System. There are 4 PPRS boards, one in each of the 4 Onix1 Island parcels. Join the PPRS and get paid to put Onix1 Island in your profile picks !

We have 4 ads of Onix1 Island (1 for each parcel). You can find them using the search option of your second life viewer.

Remember that Onix1 Island is an "adult" region. There are just 2 simple things you have to do to have access to Onix1 Island and any other "adult" content in Second Life:

1st. You should verify your age. In order to do this you have to go to Second Life Website and log in with your main avatar entering your second life name and password to access your account. Once in your account you select "Age Verification" from the options given on the left side of the screen. You will get an easy form to fill out where you will have to give information about one of your real life Identification documents, you submit the form and it's done!.

2nd You should activate "adult" content in your Second Life Viewer. You log into the viewer with your main "avatar" (the one you have age verified). You go to the edit option on the top menu. From the drop down edit menu you select "preferences". In the "general" tab of preferences you go to: rating: I want to access content rated... and from the drop down menu given you select: Pg, mature and adult and it's done!.

From now on you can access to 100% of the public content in Second Life ;).

Live events (parties with Dj's, live music gigs, etc) at Onix1 Island normally take place between 1.00 and 3.00 pm SLT (Second Life Time). I also organise other type of events like: lasertag combat, speed wall-climbing at the xtreme tower and others.

Remember to register to Onix1 Island Project group in order to receive notices about events and novelties. You have a Group Register Machine just in front of the main TP (teleport) entrance of the island and beside a PPRS board. I have added 3 more group register machines in the other 3 parcels of the island, all of them are located beside a PPRS board.
