What's new at Onix1 Island in Second Life:

We have rebuilded the Central Stage so come to take a look at this great new Central Stage.

I have renewed the vendors of the 2 & 3 floor of the mall. The first floor is used mostly for independent shops offering great prices and unique stuff. Come to check them at the Onix1 Island Mall.

I have also added some new adult vendors in the mature area "underground" which is mostly used by independent shops too. If you don't want “mature” stuff, stay away from the mature clearly signed areas and enjoy the rest of Onix1 Island PR areas like: Xtreme tower (see pic below), beach club and others.

Remember to register to Onix1 Island Project group in order to receive notices about events and novelties. You have a group register machine just at the main TP (teleport) entrance of the island.

Registering to the group is free but you can only have 25 groups at the same time in Second Life so select them carefully ;-).

Remember never to give Real Life information about others in Second Life unless they give you specific permission to do it! This is an easy rule which helps you to enjoy your virtual world experience, follow it please.

NEW MEASURES REGARDING ADULT CONTENT IN SECOND LIFE

Second Life is introducing new measures regarding adult content in the next months. They are basically establishing the new "adult" rating system, creating the "adult" continent and implementing an adult verification system. With these measures they will restrict adult content only to adults specifically interested in this subject.

For some people this will be another move towards freedom restriction like the bans on gambling and ageplay in 2007. For others it will be a more logical way to treat extreme adult content in-world in order to avoid that people not looking for this content can find it in their second life explorations.
