A good place to get information about buying and selling on the SL Marketplace is the Second Life Wiki/Knowledge Base. If you search for “Marketplace” you will find links to tutorials about how to shop, how to search, troubleshooting and news. The RSS feeds are good to subscribe to if you are looking for a particular item to be created or to go on sale. The links for sellers will help you list and manage your virtual inventory and your store. There are also links to real estate listing sections, currency exchange and classified advertisements. Selling on SL Marketplace If you want to sell virtual products in the Second Life marketplace, first read the ‘Marketplace Sellers FAQ’ page. There is a long list of useful questions that will help you set up listings for your products, promote them, add pictures and deliver your virtual goods. If you want to sell Adult items, there are a set of special rules you must follow so that they are not accessible by ‘casual browsers’.
